Comics legend Moebius passes from long battle with cancer, he was 73.
Sad news to pass on. Jean Gerard Moebius died today after a long battle with cancer.

Eric Ryan-Concept Art Class Part II
Eric Ryan talks about his concept process in Part II of Concept Art Class. Eric Ryan has been doing concept art for the last 7 years., and is now a senior concept artist at Sony Computer Entertainment. Erik Ryan-Concept Art Class Part I
Erik Ryan is one of the best kept secrets in the concept art field. Although he’s been exploding recently with his personal work and his commercial work. I met him several years ago through another artist(Tom Brillante) who helped bring him to the school I was at. He spoke at our school and did an amazing lecture (if you haven’t seen it, its online). Illustrated Presidents Book by Jason Pruett-A Kickstarter Project!
Jason Pruett, illustrator, artist, and teacher is putting out a awesome humourous illustrated book on the presidents of the United States of America., and he’s doing it through Kickstarter. If you want to contribute, check out the video and check out his link here . Jason has been working on this project for the last year or so and now its finally coming into fruition. At CTN ,he had posters available , which have all the presidents from George Washington to Obama. And now its being offered as one of the rewards if you pledge money for the project!

Barrey Storey Show this week February 11th!
Barron Storey has an exhibition in Culver City this weekend. He’s done illustration, comics, and now more fine art. He also a teacher who teaches at California College of the Arts in San Francisco, San Jose State University, and Pixar Studios.
His work is on display 7-11pm. February 11th!
